WFHS Teacher Named Adapted Physical Education Teacher Of The Year

Nicole Alesi, William Floyd High School physical instruction trainer, was not long ago named this year’s recipient of the Suffolk Zone Adapted Physical Schooling Trainer of the Year Award by the New York Condition Association for Wellness, Actual physical Schooling, Recreation and Dance (NYS AHPERD), an honor reserved for all those who display excellence in educating and all round general performance in actual physical education.

Ms. Alesi, who has served as both of those a physical education and adapted actual physical education teacher at William Floyd High School, has carried out innovative instructing solutions such as employing technologies by way of Wii Sporting activities to aid college students engage in much healthier fitness, as nicely as instructing motion as a result of dance and exercise through the interactive Promethean board.
