Top county spellers compete – Fulton County Expositor
The yearly Fulton County Spelling Bee was held at the Northwest Ohio Educational Services Middle in Archbold to a crowd of above 150 household associates and pals. Dorothy Lambert, Archbold Elementary Principal, served as pronouncer for the event and identified as out text these types of as seethe, metadata and quantify. Successful phrases included dicey, allergenic, avatar, repository and dujour.
Thirty-5 college students from Archbold, Delta, Evergreen, Fayette, Pettisville, Swanton, Wauseon, and Holy Trinity faculties competed. 1st, second and 3rd spot finishers in grades five via eight received a plaque donated by Farmers and Retailers State Bank. All spellers in the bee received a certification of participation for their work.
Initial-location finishers for the celebration were being Liam Hageman, fourth grade, Archbold Alec Fruchey, fifth grade, Wauseon Keegan Chicken, sixth quality, Pettisville Ryan Bishop, seventh grade, Pettisville and Genevieve Heising, eighth quality, Pettisville.
The county bee is coordinated by Stacey Parrish, Education and learning Consultant for the Northwest Ohio Educational Company Centre. Judges for the function were being NwOESC Education Consultants, Sally Kovar and Jane Myers and Swanton Center College Assistant Principal Leigh Pancoast.
